Previews and revisits from Yangon

Cloudy skies over Yangon hampered efforts at capturing the Nay Pyi Daw and Shae Saung cinemas in all their angular, multi-hued beauty last June. On top of dreary weather, hawk-eyed theater security guards turned me away every time the camera came out. Company policy, they claimed. The result was an unremarkable, hastily-made series for both of these late-1950's cinema gems. But due diligence does pay off sometimes. The crisp cool-season sun apparently had a blinding effect on the cinema watch dogs, providing a chance for some half-decent images. Have a look below at the revisit images:

The Shae Saung smothered in shine.

No need to rehash the details of these two. If you missed them the first time, here's the original posts for the Nay Pyi Daw and Shae Saung cinemas.

Fresh material will be posted shortly.
